Your data will neither be published nor disclosed to third parties without legal permission or your consent.

What follows is an explanation of the data we gather when your visit our website and exactly how we use it.

Collection and Processing of Data Obtained through Internet Access (General)

When you visit our websites, our server makes a temporary record of this and stores it in a log file. The following data are recorded and stored until automatically deleted:

  • IP address of the requesting computer
  • Date and time of access

  • Name and URL of the retrieved file

  • Volume of data transmitted

  • Indication of whether the retrieval was successful

  • Identification data of the browser and operating system used

  • Website through which access was gained

The purpose of the processing of this data is to allow the use of this website (connection setup), for system security, for the technical administration of the network infrastructure as well as for the optimisation of our internet service.Die IP-Adresse wird nur bei Angriffen auf unsere Netzinfrastruktur oder aus anderen Datensicherheitsgründen ausgewertet. Personenbezogene Nutzerprofile werden nicht erstellt.

The IP address is only analysed in the event of an attack on our network infrastructure or for other data security reasons. We do not compile personal user profiles.

Apart from the cases cited above, personal information will not be processed unless permitted by law, is necessary for the processing of an order given to us or you giving your express consent to further processing.

Security of Data Transmission

When you log in and place an order, the transmission of your personal information is encrypted. To do this, we use the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption system. In addition, with the appropriate technical and organisational measures, we protect our website and other systems against accidental or deliberate manipulation, loss, destruction, access, modification or distribution of your data by third parties. Our security measures are continuously being improved in line with technological progress.

Cookies Usage und Tracking Tags (General)

Where necessary, we use cookies on various pages to make a visit to our website more attractive and to enable the use of certain functions. Cookies are small text files that are saved on your computer. Most of the cookies that we use are deleted from your hard drive once you close your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your computer and allow us to recognise your computer when you next visit our website (so-called permanent cookies). Our partner companies are not permitted to take cookies to collect, process or use personal information via our website.

Control of Cookie Usage (General)

You have the option of accepting or rejecting cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies but you can usually adjust your browser settings to reject cookies if you prefer. For more information about how cookies can be rejected please go to

Visitors to our website whose browsers do not allow cookies can still continue to visit our website.  However, the use of certain functions may be restricted.

Tracking Tags (General)

Tracking Tags (also known as clear GIFs or web beacons) are used in combination with cookies to understand visitors’ behaviour on our website. Typically, a clear GIF is a transparent graphic image (normally 1x1 pixel in size), which can be found on the website. The use of a clear GIF allows us to see what visitors do when they go to our website.

Use of etracker

This website uses technologies from etracker GmbH to collect and store data for marketing and optimisation purposes. User profiles can be created from these data under a pseudonym, and cookies can be used for this purpose. Cookies are small text files that are stored in the visitor´s local browser cache. Cookies allow the recognition of the web browser.

The data compiled using etracker technology will not be used to identify visitors to the website personally and will not be combined with personal information about the pseudonym bearer without their express permission. You can object to the compilation and storage of data at any time with effect for future usage.

Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web service analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”).

Google Analytics employs so-called cookies, text files which are stored on your computer and which allow an analysis of your website usage. The information generated by the cookie about your website usage (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States of America.

However, once IP anonymisation is activated on this website, Google will abbreviate your IP address before transmission in member states of the European Union or in other states signatory to the European Economic Area Treaty. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the United States and shortened there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website to evaluate your usage of the website, to compile reports about website activities and to provide other services associated with website and internet usage. The IP address transferred from your browser within the framework of Google Analytics will not be combined with other Google data.

Additionally, you can prevent Google collecting any data (including your IP address) created by the cookie and pertaining to your usage of  the website as well as the processing of these data by going to the link below to download and install the browser plugin:

As an alternative to the browser plugin or for browsers on mobile devices, please click on the following link to place an opt-out cookie, which will block the collection of data by Google Analytics on this website in the future (this opt-out cookie only works in this browser and for this domain, so if you delete your cookies in this browser, you will have to click on this link again):

Deactivate Google Analytics

We also use Google Analytics to evaluate data from AdWords and the DoubleClick cookie for statistical purposes. If you do not want this, then you can deactivate this by using the Ads Preference Manager

Use of Google Adwords

We use Google Adwords Conversion Tracking, an analysis service of Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; “Google”). Google Adwords places a cookie on your computer (“conversion cookie“), provided you accessed our website via a Google advertisement. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If you visit certain pages and the cookie is still active, then we, Google included, can see that someone has clicked on the advertisement and has been forwarded to our site. Every AdWords customer receives a different cookie. This means that cookies cannot be tracked via the websites of Adwords customers. The data gathered using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for Adwords customers who have decided to use conversion tracking. Adwords customers are able to find out the total number of users who click on their advertisement and who were forwarded to a website with a conversion tracking tag. They do not, however, receive any information which would enable them to identify users.  If you do not wish to participate in conversion tracking, you can reject the necessary placement of the cookie – for instance by changing you browser settings so that the automatic placement of cookies is deactivated or cookies from “” are blocked.

Use of Google Tag Manager

This website uses Google Tag Manager. It allows website tags to be managed via an interface. The Google Tag Manager tool itself (that implements the tags) is a domain without cookies and does not gather personal information. The tool triggers other tags, which, in turn, may gather data under certain circumstances. The Google Tag Manager does not access these data. If a deactivation is made at a domain or cookie level, then this affects all tracking tags that were implemented with Google Tag Manager.

Use of Facebook Social Plugins

This website uses so-called social plugins (“plugins") from the social network, Facebook that is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook"). The plugins can be identified by their Facebook logo.

If you open a page of our website containing such a plugin, your web browser will create a direct connection to Facebook´s servers. The content of this plugin is transmitted directly from Facebook to your browser, which then integrates it into the website.

The integration of plugins allows Facebook to receive the information that your browser has opened a certain page on our website, even if you do not have a Facebook account or are not currently logged into Facebook. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted directly to Facebook´s servers in the United States of America where it is stored.

As a rule, it is not possible for Facebook to identify you on the basis of the dynamic IP address that is typically given to you by your internet provider when you are surfing. According to Facebook publications, these data are neither processed further nor passed on to third parties, and they are anonymised after three months, so that a connection to a person is no longer possible.

However, if you are logged into Facebook, then Facebook can assign your visit to our website directly to your Facebook account. If you interact with a plugin, for example if you click on the “Like” button or write a comment, this information is transmitted directly to a Facebook server and stored there. This information is also posted on Facebook and can be seen by your Facebook friends.

If you do not wish Facebook to assign data collected via our website to your Facebook account, then you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website.

The purpose and volume of data acquisition and the further processing and usage of data by Facebook as well as your rights with regard to this and your setting options to protect your privacy can be found in Facebook´s privacy policy:

Use of Facebook Remarketing/Retargeting

Remarketing Tags from the social network, Facebook, 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA are integrated in our website. When you visit our website, the “remarketing tag” establishes a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server. As a result, Facebook receives information that you have visited our website with your IP address. This enables Facebook to assign your visit to our page to your user account. We can then use information obtained in this way to run Facebook Ads. Please note that we, as the operator of the website, have no knowledge of either the content of the data transmitted or their usage made by Facebook. More information about this can be found in Facebook´s privacy policy at . If you do not wish your data to be collected via Custom Audience, then you can deactivate Custom Audience  here.

Review Reminder from Trusted Shops

This permission can be revoked at any time by writing directly to Trusted Shops.
